Hallie Juanita Mercer, 82, of the 900 block of Canal Drive, a homemaker, died Sept. 18, 1994, in Chesapeake.
Mrs. Mercer was born in Keystone, W.Va. She was the widow of Louis Mercer and was a member of Missionary Holiness Church.
Survivors include four sons, Robert H. White of Virginia Beach, Ernest Forbes, James L. White and Otis L. White, all of Chesapeake; two brothers, Rufus Robertson Jr. of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Ralph Stacy of Cleveland, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
A church service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Missionary Holiness Church by the Rev. Asa Lowe and the Rev. Calvin Twiddy. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk. The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, today from 7 to 8 p.m. and at 961 Canal Drive, Chesapeake, all other times.
