RALPH H. PARK

Ralph Herschel Park, 70, of the 7400 block of Glencove Place, died Sept. 17, 1994, in a Norfolk hospital.

Mr. Park was a retired senior vice president and trust officer from NationsBank. He was born in Savona, N.Y. and raised in Corning, N.Y. He graduated from The New York State Maritime Academy and served in the Maritime Service during World War II and in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Mr. Park was also a graduate of Syracuse University, class of 1949. He was a member of The Church of The Good Shepherd in Norfolk, and was a member and past commander of the American Legion Post 35. He was a former member of the Host Lions Club.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Matthews Park of Norfolk; three daughters, Anne Park Curtis, Mary Willis Park and Catherine Anderson Park all of Norfolk; a son, Robert Matthews Park of Virginia Beach; and a grandson, George Hughes Curtis V and a granddaughter Mary Catherine Curtis of Norfolk; a sister, Phyllis Park Lapp of Bath, N.Y.; and a brother, Alan T. Park of Corning, N.Y.

A graveside service will be conducted at noon Tuesday, Sept. 20, 1994, in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk, by the Rev. Ross M. Wright and the Rev. John M. Eidan. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.

The family requests memorial donations may be made to The Church of The Good Shepherd, 1520 North Shore Road, Norfolk, Va. 23505, to the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters, 601 Children's Lane, Norfolk, Va. 23507 or to a charity of choice.
