Virginia K. Bowes, 78, of the 1000 block of Manchester Ave., died Sept. 14, 1994, in a nursing home.
Mrs. Bowes was born in Capon Bridge, W. Va. She was a Catholic.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, John L. Bowes Sr.; a daughter, Carol J. Cox of Sullivans Island, S.C.; a son, Cdr. John L. Bowes Jr. USN of Point Mugu, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.
Her remains will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Colonial Crematorium is in charge of arrangements.
