CAROLINE B. JACKSON

Caroline Benson Jackson, 75, of the 4500 block of Wake Forest Road, died Sept. 21, 1994, in a Portsmouth hospital.

Mrs. Jackson was a native of Portsmouth and was the widow of the Rev. Roderick Jackson. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Portsmouth and Daughters of the American Revolution.

Survivors include a sister, Ann Benson Green of Portsmouth; a brother, John F. Benson Jr. of Ormond Beach, Fla.; four nieces, Judith Ohligler of Middleton, Ohio, Ann Barlow Green of Harrison, N.J., Caroline Slone of Portsmouth and Mary Green of Lyon, France; a nephew, John F. Benson III of Cincinnati, Ohio; a grand-niece and grand-nephews.

A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday in St. John's Episcopal Church by the Rev. Brian Hobden. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the Restoration Fund of St. John's Episcopal Church.
