Bertie Sue Beasley, 78, of the 4100 block of S. Plaza Trail, a homemaker, died Oct. 1, 1994, in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Beasley was born in Bertie County, N.C. She was a Baptist and the widow of Charlie Lee Beasley.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Wey of Charleston, S.C., and Joyce Waller of Virginia Beach; a son, Charlie Lee Beasley, Jr., of Williamsburg; two sisters, Margaret McQuston and Bonnie Strickland, and a son, Paul Wilson, all of Norfolk; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by the Rev. Paul Lawson. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may join the family at the funeral home for visitation between 6 and 7 p.m. today.
