Jack Trigg Howren, 87, a lifelong Norfolk resident, died Sept. 30, 1994, in Norfolk.
Mr. Howren was born in Norfolk. He retired from civil service at Naval Operation Base in Norfolk, was a Baptist, and the widower of Rae Wilder Howren.
Survivors include two sons, Jack T. Howren, Jr., of Fredericksburg, Va., and Gerald Darden Howren of Zebulon, N.C.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Terry Beck. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is handling arrangements.
