TEEN GUILTY IN SHOOTING

A 16-year-old boy pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter Wednesday for shooting a Portsmouth man with a 12-gauge shotgun last year.

Urishiman Hall, who was initially charged with the murder and attempted robbery of 48-year-old Leslie A. White, entered the plea as part of a plea agreement. He could face a maximum 10-year sentence for the manslaughter conviction.

White, who was taking an evening walk on Sept. 22, strolled past a group of youths hanging around Duke Street. Hall, who was in the group, ran after him and shot him twice.
