Evelyn Harris Artman, 82, of 552 First Avenue, died October 12, 1994.
A native of Suffolk, she was the daughter of the late James Edwin and Effie May Pierce Harris.
Mrs. Artman retired, after twenty-five years of service, as Nansemond County deputy clerk and served as secretary to Judge James Godwin. She was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Jack Seddon Artman; one son, Edwin Townsend Artman of Chicago and two grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. by Dr. Merle Correll at the graveside in Holly Lawn Cemetery.
