William Byren ``Bill'' Lassiter, 69, of the 1100 block of Deaton Drive, died Oct. 12, 1994, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Mr. Lassiter was a native of Ahoskie, N.C. He was retired as a supervisor from Liverman Construction Co.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley J. Lassiter; two sons, Danny Lassiter and David Lassiter, both of Chesapeake; three sisters, Hilda Lassiter of Ahoskie, Dolly Robbins of Chesapeake and Bessie Lassiter of Clifton Forge, Va.; a brother, Henry Clay Lassiter of Wilmington, Del.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by Chaplain Ernie Etheridge. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
