Gustava Mason, 90, of the 7500 block of Diven St., a retired housewife, died Oct. 11, 1994, in Chesapeake Health Care Center.
Mrs. Mason was born in Surry County, Va. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Norfolk, the senior choir, and was a missionary. She was a member of Titus Town Widows Club and Titus Town Senior Citizens Club and the widow of Bernard S. Mason. Her parents were the late Charlie and Ada Stubbs.
Survivors include Ida L. Mason, daughter-in-law of Newport News; a son, Bernard S. Mason of Newport News; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 11a.m. Saturday at 933 W. Little Creek Road, Norfolk, by the Rev. Keith S. Cook. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. T.E. Cooke-Twilight Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church. Family and friends will assemble at the residence at 10 a.m. for the procession to the church for the service.
