HENRY MULLEN

Henry Mullen of the 4000 block of Elliott St., died Oct. 23, 1994, in a local hospital after a short illness.

Mr. Mullen was born in Norfolk County (Chesapeake) and was a form sitter for a construction company. He was the son of the late William H. Mullen and Willie Mae Mullen.

Survivors include his wife, Audry Mullen, and a daughter, Ms. Bridget Mullen, both of Virginia Beach; a son, Master Jamel Watson of Portsmouth; two sisters, Phyllis Mullen and Diane Mullen, both of Chesapeake; five brothers, Robert Mullen of Portsmouth and Rev. Charlie Mullen, Larry Mullen, George Mullen and Rickey Mullen, all of Chesapeake; a granddaughter, Nikeyta Mullen of Virginia Beach; a very special person in his life, Stephanie Watson of Portsmouth; three aunts, Mable Griffin, Lydia Payling and Annie Mae Norman, all of Chesapeake; three uncles, Joe Willie Holley and Milton Mullen, both of Chesapeake, and Charlie Griffin of Norfolk; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and co-workers. He will be sadly missed by all.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Holy Temple Pentecostal Church of God, 4201 Reid St., Chesapeake, by the Rev. William Thomas Smith of Ivor and the Hon. Bishop James Brinkley Sr., pastor. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Metropolitan Funeral Service is handling arrangements. Family and friends will assemble at 4012 Elliott St., Portsmouth, at noon Friday for funeral processional to the church.
