GERARDO P. RAGUDO

Gerardo Padilla Ragudo, 60, of East Leicester Ave., died Oct. 30, 1994, in Virginia Beach.

He was a native of Tayabas, Quezon, Philippines. He had retired from the U.S. Navy and was currently employed with the Navy Supply Station.

He is survived by his wife, Evelina Dacanay Ragudo; one son, John Everard D. Ragudo of Virginia Beach; four sisters, Josefina Eclavea of Philippines, Nelida Casenasand husband, Cris, and Edelita Lleva and husband, Joven, all of Philippines, and Carmencita Tadiosa and husband, Jesse, of San Jose, Calif.; two brothers, Carlos Ragudo and wife, Ampy, of San Jose, Calif., and Romeo Ragudo and wife, Sally, of Scarboro, Canada; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Emilio Dacanay of Queens, N.Y.; sisters-in-law, Cecilia Dacanay, and Angeles D. Barcenas, both of Queens, N.Y., Nicetas D. Swenson of Flushing, N.Y., and Christina S. Dacanay of Rockland, N.Y.; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Dr. Chita D. and Dr. Isabello Primero of Chicago, Ill., Sofia D. and Jesse Serrano of Philippines, Remy D. and Murray Meltzer of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Cleofe D. and John Lawrence of Bronx, N.Y.; brothers-in-law, Conrado Dacanay of Chicago, Ill., and Virgilio Dacanay of Rockland, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Holy Trinity Catholic Church by Father Lou Ruoff and Father Santiago Frias. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at Holloman-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, today from 5 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 6:15 p.m. to service time at the church. The family invites friends to a prayer service at the church 10 a.m. Thursday, followed with a procession to the cemetery.
