Joyce McAlpine Fincannon, 55, of the 1000 block of Little Lake Drive, died Oct. 30, 1994, in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Fincannon was born in Norfolk and was a lifelong resident of Virginia Beach. She was the widow of Thomas F. Fincannon and was a member of Virginia Beach General Ladies Auxiliary Group; Virginia Beach Fraternal Order of Police Association, Lodge 8; and the Fleet Reserve Association, Branch 99.
Survivors include three daughters, Debra A. Fincannon and Linette M. Fincannon, both of Virginia Beach and Linda Brewer of Jacksonville, Fla.; a sister, Nancy J. Williams of Phenix City, Al.; and two brothers, Kenneth V. McAlpine of Goose Creek, S.C. and Ronald W. McAlpine of Virginia Beach.
The graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Hampton National Cemetery. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, today from 7 to 9 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Virginia Beach General Hospital Ladies Auxiliary.
