CHAMBER
The American Chamber of Commerce Executives elected Jack Hornbeck to its executive committee and board of directors. He will serve a one-year term as secretary/treasurer of the national association for chamber professionals.
Hornbeck is president of the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce. He has been a member of ACCE for the past 21 years. The council serves executives of the nation's 70 largest chambers.
EDUCATION
John E. Mulford, Dean of the Regent University School of Business, was named to the board of trustees as its first executive vice president of finance and operations.
Mulford joined the business school as a faculty member in 1982, and has been dean since 1990. He holds a doctorate degree in policy planning and systems analysis from Cornell University.
INSURANCE
John J. Wolcott, vice president and general manager of the USAA mid-Atlantic regional office in Norfolk, has been promoted to senior vice president and general manager.
Wolcott has has been with USAA for six years. He will be responsible for overseeing the insurance organizations property and casualty division's insurance needs in Delaware, North Carolina, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia and Washington.
