Larry Edward Rizer, 51, died Nov. 17, 1994.
A resident of Virginia Beach for a number of years, he was born in Clifton Forge, Va. on Nov. 22, 1942.
At the time of death he was salesmanager of The Wood Co. in Oxford, N.C., and was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Rizer of Cary, N.C.; daughter, Courtney Rizer of Virginia Beach; son, Scott Rizer of Richmond; five sisters, Nancy R. Williams of Stoneville, N.C., Susie R. Gardner of Lexington, N.C., Peggy R. Tunnell of Matthews, N.C., Shirley R. Higgs of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Betty Lou Rizer of Roanoke, Va.; one brother, Edward Greening of Akron, Ohio.
Funeral services were held Sunday in Martinsville, Va. by Dr. Dwight Christenbury. Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Campbell University Athletic Fund, Buies Creek, N.C.
