WILLIAM F. REEL

William Frank Reel, 71, of the 1000 block of Justis St., died Nov. 25, 1994.

He was a native of South Norfolk and was a retired painter for the United States government at Little Creek. He had 18 years of service. He was the widower of Mary Peebles Reel and attended Plaza Baptist Church in Virginia Beach. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII.

He is survived by one daughter, Beth Reel Gibbs of Virginia Beach; one step-daughter, Lynne Licht of Pekin, Ill.; one son, Bill Reel of Chesapeake; one sister, Jeannie Hughes of Chesapeake; two brothers, Buddy Reel of Chesapeake and Bobby Reel of Virginia Beach; and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by one brother, G. Wilbur Reel.

The graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday in Rosewood Memorial Park by the Rev. Melvin J. Hughes. The family will be at Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, today from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
