RALPH E. DEADY

Commander Ralph Earl Deady, CEC, USN (Ret.), 64, died Nov. 21, 1994.

He was a civil engineer for J.J. Henry Inc. and was a native of Ohio. He was Protestant and was a member of the Virginia Beach Rifle and Pistol Club, the National Rifle Association, and the Navy League. He had 21 years with the Navy, was a 1952 graduate of Case Institute of Technology, Highly Decorated Vietnam War veteran, which included the Bronze Star with Combat ``V'', and he was a licensed professional engineer in New York, Ohio, and Virginia.

He is survived by his wife, Deirdre; one daughter, Jennifer Deady Thompson of Virginia Beach; one son, William John Deady II of Virginia Beach; one sister, Elizabeth ``Betty'' Konecsni of Ohio; one brother, Frederick William Deady Jr. of Michigan; four grandchildren, Jason, Will, Michelle, and Michael, all of Virginia Beach.

The graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in Princess Anne Memorial Park by Father Jim Parke. Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, is handling the arrangements.
