DARLENE LAMB: TIDEWATER ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS PRESIDENT

They say if you want something done, ask a busy person. That's Darlene Lamb's philosophy - although she's usually that busy person getting asked to take on another chore.

``One thing that people know about me is that I'm extremely organized and give 150 percent,'' said Lamb, a Realtor and president of the Tidewater Association of Realtors. ``Everything I do, I do like turbo.''

That includes her off-work pursuits, too. Lately, she's been gung-ho about working out. Her trainer is an old school pal - her first-grade ``boyfriend'' Marvin Chappell from Ballentine Elementary in Norfolk. She read a newspaper story about him and wondered if it was the same Marvin she knew as a child. She called to find out, it was and she started training with him.

``We became friends again,'' she said.
