JAMES W. HORNE

James Wesley Horne died after a surfing accident on December 19, 1994 in St. Thomas.

He was born September 27, 1955, in Key West, Fla. He was a 1973 graduate of Kellam High School, and a graduate of Florida Institute of Technology, where he earned a degree in Marine Biology. He was an Eagle Scout and a member of the Virgin Islands Surf Team, where he competed in international surfing competitions.

He is survived by his wife, Erica Walls Horne; his mother, Jeannie McGee Roscosky of Delmont, Pa.; his father, James M. Horne of Virginia Beach; his brother, Joe, and his wife Kathy; two sisters, Jane Derwent, and Judi, and her husband, Sam Fox, of Saltsburg, Pa.

A funeral service will be held in St. Thomas on January 1, 1995.
