Willie Harrison Sumner, 75, of Rt. 1, died Dec. 27, 1994.
He was a member of Ashley Grove Baptist Church and was retired from NASA.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Sykes Sumner; a son, Donald H. Sumner of Hampton, Va.; one brother, Everette Sumner of Conway, N.C.; two grandsons, one great-grandson, and two step-children.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today in Ashley Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Deloatch Family Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Roanoke-Chowan Hospice, Ahoskie, N.C. 27910, or the Conway Rescue Squad, Conway, N.C. 27820. Jackson Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
