ROSA L. WIGGINS

Rosa Irene Lassiter Wiggins, 74, of the 2700 block of Belle St., a homemaker, died Dec. 27, 1994, in Prince George County Hospital, Prince George County, Md.

She was born in Sunbury, N.C., and was a member, deaconess and stewardess of Providence AMEZ Church, Portsmouth. She was a past matron of Ever-Ready Chapter (NU)154, Order of Eastern Star PHA.

Survivors include her husband, Clinton A. Wiggins; two daughters, Abbie Medious of Mamaroneck, N.Y., and Rosalyn I. Wiggins of Portsmouth; four sons, Clinton B. Wiggins of Forestville, Md., Rufus M. Wiggins of Hyattsville, Md., Clyde D. Wiggins of Chesapeake and Henry A. Wiggins of Euclid, Ohio; three sisters, Viola Lassiter of Brooklyn, N.Y., Frances Eason of Sunbury, N.C. and Margaret Dorsey of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Henry ``Buddy'' Lassiter of New York City and Henry Lassiter of Suffolk; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Monday, Jan. 2, 1995, in Providence AMEZ Church, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Alphonso Griffin Sr. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. Viewing will begin at noon Sunday in Corprew Funeral Home. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday. The body will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. Monday.
