BLANCHE P. ALEXANDER

Blanche Sibbald Posthumus Alexander, 83, of the 800 block of Gas Light Lane, a retired communications supervisor, died Jan. 8, 1995, in Hillhaven Holmes Health Care Center.

She was born in Vicksburg, Mich., and was the widow of Donald W. Alexander. She was retired from Pontiac General Hospital and was a member of Bow Creek Presbyterian Church, Virginia Beach.

Survivors include two daughters, Virginia Hartman of Virginia Beach and Martha Roy of El Cajon, Calif.; a son, Donald W. Alexander of California; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, by the Rev. James E. Dorson. Burial will be private at a later date. The family requests contributions to the Davis Corner Rescue Squad.
