LOUISE SESSOMS

Louise Sessoms, of the 2700 block of Belle St., died Jan. 9, 1995.

She was a native of Colquitt County, Ga., and was the widow of Oscar Sessoms. She was a retired cook from Clayton's Restaurant and was a member of Celestial Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary L. Dicks of Warminister, Pa.; two sons, James M. Simmons and Oscar H. Sessoms, both of Portsmouth; five sisters, Elmira Singleton of Detroit, Mich., Ola Mae Fields of Jacksonville, Fla., Erma Smith, Alice Zeeney and Shebra Wright, all of Philadelphia, Pa.; three brothers, Bill Smith, Ronald Smith, and Leonard Smith, all of Philadelphia, Pa.; eight grandchildren; and aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Celestial Baptist Church. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. Viewing will be at Corprew Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Friday. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Saturday.
