Hazel Perry Hill, 85, of the 1200 block of W. Main St., died Monday, Jan. 16, 1995, in Albemarle Hospital.
She was a native of Pasquotank County and a member of First United Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late D.C. Perry Sr. and Margaret Thomas Perry, and the wife of Joe Hill of the home.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Hill is survived by a daughter, Jo Ann H. Evans of Suffolk, Va.; a sister, Margaret P. Harrell of Elizabeth City; one grandson, W.J. Clark Evans of Richmond, Va.; one great-grandchild, Will Evans; three nieces and seven nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Twiford's Memorial Chapel, 405 E. Church St., with the Rev. Milton Mann officiating. Burial will follow in New Hollywood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today and other times at the residence.
