ELOUISE D. KNIGHT

Elouise D. Knight of the 800 block of Widgeon Road, passed from her old life to her glorious new life on Jan. 18, 1995, at her daughter's residence.

Mrs. Knight was born and raised in Princess Anne County to the late Benjamin and Mable Gregory. She was formerly married to Melvin Knight Sr. Mrs. Knight was a member of Glad Tidings COGIC. She often spent time advising troubled young women.

Mrs. Knight was survived by three daughters, Jane Williams and Arleen Holmes of Norfolk and Gabrielle Knight of Upper Marlboro, Md.; one son-in-law, Lawrence Williams and one daughter-in-law, Sharon Knight; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

A homegoing celebration will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23, 1995, at Bayview Baptist Church with Elder Timothy Wright officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Anyone wishing to visit the family may do so at 7242 N. Rosemont Drive, Norfolk.
