IRA C. WILSON

Ira Cain Wilson, age 94, a resident of Tar River Manor Nursing Home in Greenville, N.C. and long time resident of Norfolk, died at Pitt County Memorial Hospital Friday, February 03, 1995. She was born March 15, 1900 in Petersburg, Virginia, and the daughter of the late Robert Franklin and Minnie Robie Cain. She was the widow of Frederick Guy Wilson, Sr. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Norfolk, Virginia and Washington, N.C. Mrs. Wilson retired from the Norfolk Interior Design firm of Cofer's Inc. as an Interior Designer with more than forty years of service.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by her son, Frederick Guy Wilson, Jr. of Washington, N.C.; 1 sister, Minnie Cain Bell of Lakeland, Florida; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, February 07, 1995, in Elmwood Cemetery at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Stephen Frazier officiating. A visitation will be held Monday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Twiford Funeral Home, Ghent Chapel, Norfolk. Memorial donations may be made to the National Cancer Society or to one's choice.
