JAMES E. JACKSON

James Earl Jackson, 59, of the 400 block of Woodlake Road, a retired AK2 (storekeeper), died Feb. 2, 1995, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Mr. Jackson was born in Fairmont, W.Va. He retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years and was currently employed at Norshipco as a storekeeper. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and was a Mason.

Survivors include his wife, Jesusa V. Jackson; five daughters, Jacqueline F. Williams of Virginia Beach, Joyce E. Jackson and Janet E. Boney, both of Colorado Springs, Colo., Judy A. Jackson of Virginia Beach and Jill M. Jackson of Los Angeles, Calif.; a son, James V. Jackson of Virginia Beach; a brother, William T. Jackson of Norfolk; and eight grandchildren. Also survived by a brother-in-law Maximo Villanueva and his wife Lillian of Virginia Beach; a sister-in-law Victoria Freeman and her husband Glen of Midland, Mich., and two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law in the Philippines. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins in both the United States and in the Philippines.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Virginia Beach, by Father Thomas Caroluzzo. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. There will be a Christian wake service held Monday evening in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel at 7 p.m. The family will receive friends following the service until 9 p.m.
