MABEL L. EVERETT

Mabel Lee Everett of the 2600 block of Middle Ave., died Feb. 3, 1995, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Mrs. Everett was born in Woodland, N.C. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, Norfolk, and was the widow of Grover Lee Everett. She was retired 45 years as a domestic.

Survivors include two sons, Grover Vernanda Everett of South Africa and Lindsey Carroll Everett of Norfolk; two sisters, Helen Barnes of Murfreesboro, N.C., and Ernestine Boone of Spring Valley, N.Y.; three brothers, Willie Mack of New York, James Boone of High Point, N.C., and Thomas Vaughan of Woodland, N.C.; and one granddaughter, April Lynnett Everett of Pennsylvania. She also leaves behind many families and children who loved her greatly and will miss her.

A funeral will be held at noon Wednesday at Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hampton National Cemetery. The remains will be ready for viewing at 3 p.m. Tuesday. The family will gather at the funeral home at 11:30 Wednesday for the service.
