GUMELIA M. BOYKINS

Gumelia Mae Boykins of the 400 block of Fenchurch St., a custodian, died Feb. 16, 1995, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Mrs. Boykins was born in Chesapeake and was employed with the City of Norfolk. She was the widow of Anthony J. Boykins and a member of Baptist Rock Church in Chesapeake and the Adult Choir.

Survivors include a daughter, Sylvia Auguste of Norfolk; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Baptist Rock Church, Ballahack Road, by the Rev. James Smith. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The remains will be ready for viewing at 4 p.m. The family will assemble at the residence for the processional at 12:30 p.m. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
