BEAULAH W. ALEXANDER

Beaulah Leigh Wynn Alexander, 89, died Feb. 24, 1995, in Greenville, N.C.

Mrs. Alexander was born in Williamston, N.C., and was the widow of William Howard Alexander. She was a member of Fairview Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Lucille Alexander Hill of Greenville, N.C.; a son, Gilbert L. Alexander of Chesapeake; three sisters, Pauline W. Letchworth of Marshville, N.C., Doris W. Edmonson and May W. Hopkins, both of Williamston, N.C.; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Dr. George E. ``Ted'' Barton. The family will be at Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday and other times at 3325 Mapleton Crescent, Chesapeake. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Hospice Volunteers of Portsmouth Area, Inc.
