REBECCA B. PAYNTER

Rebecca Bell Paynter, 89, of the 800 block of Goff St., a retired domestic worker, died March 6, 1995, in Norfolk.

She was born in Princess Anne County, Va., and was a member of Greater Metropolitan Methodist Church in Norfolk and the (NU)2 Usher Board.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Minnie E. Paynter of Norfolk; a niece, Dorothy P. Taylor of Norfolk; two special cousins, Lillie A. Whitfield of Virginia Beach and Yuzzell Paynter of Norfolk; other nieces and nephews; great-grand-nieces and nephews; great-great-grand-nieces and nephews; and great-great-great-grand-nieces and nephews; and other cousins, relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Macedonia Holiness Church, Norfolk, by the Rev. Anthony E. Moses. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. The family will will receive friends at 448 New York Ave., Norfolk. The funeral procession will leave from this address for the service. E.A. Hughes Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
