WALTER H. HARLOW

Walter Harold Harlow, 74, died Friday morning, March 10, 1995 in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk.

Mr. Harlow was born in Richmond, Va. The son of the late Walter and Mrs. Olive Brooks Harlow. He was the retired executive vice president of the Hobbsville branch of NCNB, now known as Centura Bank. A Baptist by faith, he was a member of the Albemarle Planning Board Commission, the VFW and a former member of the Sunbury Investment Club. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his wife, Ada Shaw Harlow; two daughters, Carolyn Lee Harlow of Richmond and Brenda Harlow Knight of South Hill, Va.; one son, Walter Bradley Harlow of Norfolk; one sister, Shirley H. Collins of Richmond; and five grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Hobbsville Baptist Church Cemetery. Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, is handling arrangements. Friends may join the family at the residence. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hobbsville Volunteer Fire Department, Hobbsville, N.C. 27946.
