OLIVE J. VAN WAGNER

Olive J. Van Wagner, 82, of the 7800 block of Lisa Drive, a retired radiologist technician, died March 9, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.

Mrs. Van Wagner was born in Newark Valley, N.Y., and was the widow of Henry J. Van Wagner Sr. She was retired from Christ Hospital, Jersey City, N.J., after 15 years. She was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church; Ester Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star in New Jersey; and worked with Boy Scouts of America for 25 years beginning in the 1940s.

Survivors include two daughters, A. Diane Kupka of Norfolk and Kathryn Pribram of Alexandria, Va.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Henry J. Van Wagner Jr.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in St. Stephen's Episcopal Church by the Rev. Peter McGill. Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements. The body is being sent to MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley, N.Y., for burial. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Stephen's Epicopal Church, 1445 Norview Ave., Norfolk.
