Jesse M. Waters Jr., 73, of the 700 block of Glenroie Ave., died March 10, 1995, in Norfolk.
Mr. Waters was born in Pinetown, N.C. He retired from American Sheet Metal, was a member of Zion Grace United Methodist Church, Norfolk, a veteran of World War II and was the widower of Virginia P. Waters.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Ronald Fry of Libertyville, Ill.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jesse M. Waters III and Marie Waters of Hampton and James A. and Mary Waters of Lakeland, Fla.; a brother, Arnold Waters of Hampton; two grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
A funeral will be conducted at 2p.m. Tuesday at Zion Grace United Methodist Church by the Rev. Charles Hubbard. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and other times at the residence.
