GRACE F. FOWLER

Grace Fleming Fowler, 83, died March 16, 1995.

A native of Chowan County, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Frederick Vance and Julia Bateman Fleming and the widow of Alton Lewis Fowler. Mrs. Fowler was a member of Somerton United Methodist Church, where she had formerly been a member of the Adult Choir and a Sunday School teacher.

Survivors include two daughters, Deborah Boyette and Barbara Jones, both of Suffolk; a son, Roger Fleming Fowler of Suffolk; two sisters, Alma Story of Gatesville, N.C., and Geneva Felton of Eure, N.C.; two brothers, Wilbur Fleming of Newport News and Vance Fleming of Elizabeth City; and four grandchildren, Todd Fowler, Chad Fowler, Kimberly Boyette and Julie Boyette.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home by the Rev. E. Lane Wadsworth and the Rev. Al Crockett. Burial will be in Somerton United Methodist Church Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Somerton United Methodist Church. The family will be at the home of Roger Fowler, 8673 Whaleyville Blvd.
