Earnest Diggs Sr., of the 2000 block of Oxford Road, died Mar. 18, 1995, in Chesapeake General Hospital.
He was a native of Princess Anne County.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Diggs of Norfolk; three sons, Earnest Diggs Jr., Jimmy Diggs and Barry Diggs, all of Norfolk; three step-sons, Jerome Perry, David Perry and Kenny Perry, all of Norfolk; his mother, Caroline Diggs of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Mary Watson of Virginia Beach and Susie Anderson of Dahlgren, Va.; four brothers, Curtis Diggs of Florida, James Diggs and John Diggs of Virginia Beach, and Charlie Diggs of CHesapeake.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Fitchett Funeral Home, by the Rev. Harold Cason. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The family will be at 401 Sassafras Court, Apt. 201, Virginia Beach.
