Clyde Bullock Sr., 74, of Churchview Estates, died March 23, 1995, in a Lumberton, N.C. hospital.
Mr. Bullock was a native of Lumberton and was a retired union millwright and former owner and operator of Bullock's Trailor Court in Suffolk. He was a member of Central Baptist Church in Portsmouth and Local (NU)1402 Union, Richmond. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma Bullock; a daughter, Frances Rhoads of Portsmouth; two sons, Clyde Bullock Jr. of Waves, N.C. and David Bullock of Farmville, Va.; a sister, Dorothy Sheilds of Monroe, La.; three brothers, Carl Bullock, Stacy Bullock and Billy Bullock, all of Lumberton; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Central Baptist Church by Dr. U.G. Robertson. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lost Cord Foundation in Chesapeake. Loving Funeral Home, Portsmouth, is handling arrangements.
