Telesha Y. Johnson, 19, of the 1500 block of Green St., died March 21, 1995, in Portsmouth General Hospital.
She was born in Portsmouth and was a clerk with the Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority. She attended New Mount Olivet Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Aaliyah T. Richardson; her mother, Catherine Johnson; a sister, Tonya Style; and three brothers, Norman Johnson, Wayne Johnson and Manthoree Johnson, all of Portsmouth; maternal grandmother and grandfather, Elizabeth Johnson and Willie Lee Johnson, both of Capron, Va.; paternal grandmother, Lessie E. Davis of Portsmouth; two nieces; one nephew; and aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in New Mount Olivet Baptist Church by the Rev. Milton R. Blount. Burial will be in Zoar Baptist Church Cemetery, Capron. Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Sunday in Corprew Funeral Home. The family will be at the home of her mother, Catherine Johnson, 125-A Howard St., Portsmouth, and will assemble there for the funeral service. The body will be taken to the church at noon Monday.
