Ellen M. Kurtz, 76, died Tuesday, April 25, 1995.
Mrs. Kurtz was born in Buffalo, N.Y. She was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, the Crafters Guild and the Chesapeake Women's Club.
She will be missed by those who survive her, including her daughter, Cheryl Finguerra and son-in-law, John Finguerra of Virginia Beach; her grandchildren, Kurt Finguerra and John Finguerra of Virginia Beach, and Nancy Baxter of Forest Hills, N.Y.; and great-grandchild, Austin Baxter of Forest Hills, N.Y.
A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday in Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 5181 Princess Anne Road in Kempsville by the Rev. Peter Courtney and the Rev. Julia Dorsey Loomis.
The family will be receiving friends at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, 4889 Princess Anne Road, from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
