Agnes Whitehurst Omachinski, 80, of the 3600 block of Orange St., died April 23, 1995, in Norfolk.
A native of Princess Anne County, she lived in Norfolk for 57 years. She was the wife of the late Alphonsus M. Omachinski and a member of Epworth United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Cecilia O. and her husband, Gary W. Wilkins, of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Lucille Milner of Virginia Beach and Elsie Mae Jordan of Chesapeake; a brother, Hilton R. Whitehurst of Virginia Beach; six grandchildren, Diane Garrett, Cheryl Crossman, Barry Wilkins, Amy Wilkins, Scott Wilkins and Wesley Wilkins, all of Virginia Beach; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty O. Kelly, and her parents, Gracie and David M. Whitehurst.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, by the Rev. William H. Acosta and Judge Hal J. Bonney. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Memorial donations may be made to the Wesleymen Bible Class of Epworth United Methodist Church or to a favorite charity.
