THOMAS L. WRIGHT

Thomas Leroy Wright, 53, of the first block of Afton Parkway, died April 25, 1995, in his home.

Mr. Wright was born in Portsmouth and was supervisor of maintenance at Maryview Medical Center for 24 years. He was also a security guard at Portsmouth General Hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Wright; three sons, Robert Thomas Wright, Heber C Wright and Kenneth A. Wright of Portsmouth; a brother, Donald A. Wright of Portsmouth; grandchildren, Robert Thomas Wright Jr. and Lee Ann Louise Wright, both of Portsmouth, Jason Lee Wright and Allen Michael Wright, both of Florida and Jessica Marie Mitchell of Chesapeake; daughters-in-law, Cheryl Wright and Deborah Morris of Portsmouth; stepfather, Charlie Gaskins of Portsmouth; an aunt, Mildred V. Armstrong of Chesapeake; and one Weener Dog.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, by the Rev. Don Sheffield. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
