Regarding ``No more experiments in the ranks'' (letter, April 24): Paul and Diane Howden's assertion that homosexuality is a choice of lifestyle is ridiculous. Evidence mounts proving that sexual orientation - along with skin color and gender - is an inborn trait. Many children are aware of their homosexuality long before they learn the meaning of what it is to be ``perverted'' or ``defiant.''
Homosexuality is not a choice. The only choice that homosexuals have is whether to live their homosexual lifestyle or pretend to be heterosexual.
