Mary Catherine Metts, 72, of the 1000 block of Ontario Ave., died April 29, 1995, in Chesapeake.
Mrs. Metts was born in Versailles, Ky. She was a member of Gospel Hall, Chesapeake.
Survivors include her husband, Allen B. Metts; two daughters, Barbara Catherine Evans of Pueblo, Colo., and Esther Lee Britt of Tyler, Texas; a son, Joseph Allen Metts of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sisters, Lillian Craycraft of Slidell, La., and Margaret Ellen Whalen of Versailles, Ky.; two brothers, Thomas C. Nichols and Elmer F. Nichols, both of Versailles; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, from 5 to 6 p.m. today. She will be sent to Versailles, Ky., for a graveside service at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Versailles Cemetery.
