CRIME LINE

Local police are asking public assistance in solving these cases:

VIRGINIA BEACH

On Sunday, April 16, at about 11 p.m., a man walked into the Uni-Mart station at the intersection of Newtown Road and Baker Road.

He had a gun in his coat pocket and demanded money. After getting a small amount of cash, he ran from the store.

This is a composite of the man police are looking for. He is described as black, in his late 20s, about 5 feet 2, and 130 pounds. He had short black hair and was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and white jacket.

NORFOLK

On Jan. 21, 1994, a woman forged a check in the name of Bobby J. Neville at Virginia Check Cashiers at 6115 Sewells Point Road.

The amount of the check was in excess of $4,000.

A security camera took a photograph of the woman. She is described as white or Hispanic, 22 to 26 years old, 5 feet 6 and 160 pounds.

She had brown hair and brown eyes. The woman was known to frequent the 2400 block of Hemlock Street.

HAMPTON

On April 17, at 12:30 a.m., two men entered the Citgo gas station at 1925 N. Armistead Ave. One man placed the barrel of a shotgun to a clerk's back and demanded money.

Both men are described as black, in their mid-20s, about 6 feet tall and weighing 180 pounds.
