When your community sent rescue workers to Oklahoma City in its hour of need, I feel as though some of each of your citizens came along. The rescue mission left you short of emergency personnel. We are so very grateful that you were willing to make that sacrifice.
There are not words to express the pain we have experienced here since the bombing, and I know your people have shared that with us. They have also sent us money, food and blood. We feel soothed by their many prayers.
We have all been changed by this horrible event. The pain and sorrow won't have such sharp edges as time goes on, but it won't ever go away. We know that you are sharing this with us in so many ways, and we treasure that.
``Thank you'' has never seemed so inadequate.
