Richard H. Harrell, a native of Gates County, died June 7, 1995 at Louise Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk.
Mr. Harrell was a retired school teacher and guidance counselor for the Gates County School System.
Survivors include his wife, Tabitha Jones Harrell and one daughter, Evangeline Crawley, both of Gates County; two brothers, Roderick Harrell of Greenville, N.C., Edward Calvin Harrell of Corapeake, N.C.; two sisters, Iris Brinkley of Portsmouth, Henrietta Barrien of Pittsburgh, Pa.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, June 11, 1995, at Zion Tabernacle Baptist Church, Corapeake, N.C., at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Stanley Wiggins, Pastor. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Arrangements are by Creecy-Creecy Funeral Home, Gatesville, N.C.
