NINA I. RANKIN

Nina I. (Blanche) Rankin, 80, died on June 21, 1995, in a Chesapeake Hospital. She formerly lived in the Blackwater area of Virginia Beach and most recently in the Holly Point section of Chesapeake.

She was the widow of Louis M. Rankin, and a member of the Blackwater Baptist Church. She was retired from the St. Brides Correctional Center.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews including one niece, Thelma Collins of Chester, Va. and two nephews, Joe Ivey of Richmond and Alex Ivey of Miami.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 24, at 11 a.m. in Blackwater Baptist Church by the Rev. Joseph B. Ivey, with burial in the church cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Blackwater Baptist Church Building Fund. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, is handling arrangements.
