Irene Delano passed away June 23, 1995, in a local hospital.
She was born in Parson County, N.C.
Survivors include four sisters, Ethel Register, Florence Gosnell, Martha Edwards and Lottie Sutphin; and a host of loving family members. She was predeceased by two brothers, Otis Hicks and George Hicks.
A graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Rosewood Memorial Park. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your local SPCA. The family will be at 4804 Conestoga Road, Virginia Beach.
