CLIFFORD L. SEBRING

Clifford Leonard Sebring, 62, of the 1300 block of Fentress Rd., died Thursday, June 29, 1995, at his home.

Mr. Sebring was born in Washington, D.C., and was the son of Naomi Mills Sebring of Rocky Mt., N.C., and the late Clifton W. Sebring, and husband of Phyllis Sebring of Chesapeake.

He retired from the Norfolk and Southern Railroad as a car repairman after 44 years of service. He was a member of the National Brotherhood of Railroad Employees of America, and an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a baptist.

Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by one daughter, Rebecca Louise Sebring of Chesapeake; two stepdaughters, Sherry Moseley and Pamela Gately, both of Chesapeake; four stepsons, Larry Vogler, Charles Richey Jr., Michael Kim Richey, and James Richey, all of Chesapeake; one grandson, Cody Cameron Boyd of Chesapeake; 15 step-grandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth Bolinsky of Enfield, N.C., and Mary Frederickson of N.C.; and one brother, William Sebring, of N.C.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m., Wednesday, July 5, 1995, in Sebring Acres, 1308 Fentress Road, by M.J. Yoder. Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, is in charge of arrangements. There will be no public viewing or visitation. The family suggest that memorials be given to Chesapeake Care Free Clinic, 1001 North Sparrow Road, Chesapeake, Virginia.
