DR. ROBERT C. HILL

Dr. Robert C. Hill, Professor Emeritus, of Old Dominion University, and co-founder of Cartri-Charge, Inc., of Chesapeake, died at 7 p.m., Friday, June 30, 1995, in his residence.

Dr. Hill earned his doctorate at the Harvard Business School, Boston, Massachusetts, with primary emphasis in the fields of managerial control and organizational behavior. His analytical ability of internal operations brought him extensive recognition in this nation's leading colleges and universities, a reputation which preceded him, as a professor, for over 30 years.

Dr. Hill served as consultant to a number of nationally recognized entities, including and not limited to the National Association of Clinic Managers, the Institute of Broadcast Financial Management, the American Society for Quality Control, IBM, the Western Conference of Prepaid Medical Services, the National Association of Meat Purveyors, the American Institute of Banking, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

His survivors include two daughters, Nancy Jones, and Janet Woodcock of Greensboro, N.C.; a son, Clark Hill, also of Greensboro, N.C.; his sister, Dorothy Polzinetti, of Seneca Falls, N.Y.; and his life partner, Kenneth Warrington, of Norfolk, Va.

Memorial services are scheduled to be held, pending the contact and arrival of close family and friends, within three weeks, in one of the theatres Dr. Hill most loved to perform, and the one in which he served as a past member of the Board of Directors, The Little Theatre of Norfolk, Norfolk, Va.
